Apply to Staff
Senior Youth Camp is staffed by experienced adult Christians and qualified waterfront and medical personnel. Staff must be 18 years or older. To apply as a CIT (Counsellour in Training) you must have one year of work experience or one year of post-secondary education or equivalent. DEADLINE to apply is JULY 1st.

Police Checks are also mandatory for all staff. These can take up to six (6) weeks to process. If you have already done a police check please send a copy with your application form, or you can do one through Crosstalk Ministries by contacting our office.
The letters can be from anyone that is not in your immediate family (parents, siblings, etc.). We suggest one from your pastor or priest, and another from anyone that can speak to your ability and talens in leadership and ministry.
Please include the contact information for each reference as their may be follow up questions from the director(s).
Reference letters are to be emailed directly to the director at firstname.lastname@example.org.

THE DIRECTOR (S) – FILLED
The Director(s) coordinate and focus the efforts of the staff onsite, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the program.
COUNSELLOR-IN-TRAINING (CIT) DIRECTOR(S) – OPEN
The CIT Director(s) mentor the counsellors-in-training, walking with them through the week, while coordinating their participation in the main camp program.
ON-SITE ADMINISTRATOR – OPEN
The On-Site Administrator is our liaison with the Campsite Staff.
NURSE – OPEN
The Nurse is responsible for maintaining the physical well-being of all staff and campers on site. The Nurse must be aware of all confidential medical conditions or concerns and make sure the camper’s cabin counsellor is aware if need be. The Nurse administers first aid as needed and distributes prescription medication as instructed on camper medical forms.
WATERFRONT DIRECTOR – OPEN
The Waterfront Director is a certified lifeguard.
WORSHIP DIRECTOR & MUSIC TEAM – OPEN
The Worship Director coordinates with the Speaker(s) and Chaplain(s) to plan the daily worship sessions.
CHAPLAIN(S) – OPEN
The Chaplain(s) are those who have experience in pastor care and leading in ministry.
CABIN STAFF – OPEN
Cabin Staff are the front-line workers at camp. Residing in the cabins with the campers, they are responsible for counselling and mentoring campers, and making sure to spend some individual time with each of their campers over the course of the week.
RESOURCE STAFF – OPEN
Resource Staff provide a wide range of services during camp week. Besides helping run program events during the week and leading workshops, Resource Staff are available to campers and staff with particular problems or spiritual counselling. Resource Staff meet during the day to discuss events that came up and to pray for all campers and staff. All non-cabin staff members are considered Resource Staff.
SPORTS COORDINATOR(S) – OPEN
The Sports Coordinator supervises the use of supplies and equipment used for any sport in the program and during free time. The Sports Coordinator ensures that there is a variety of activities and supervising staff offered daily.
CRAFT HUT COORDINATOR(S) – OPEN
The Craft Hut Coordinator supervises the area designated as the Craft Hut and is responsible for the supplies and equipment provided there. The Craft Hut Coordinator ensures that there is a variety of craft projects during the week and other creative supplies for campers to use.
LOUNGE COORDINATOR – OPEN
The Lounge Coordinator supervises the area designated as the Lounge and is responsible for the supplies provided there. The Lounge Coordinator ensures that campers have a safe place to relax, talk, listen to music, and play cards and board games, particularly during inclement weather.
WORKSHOP COORDINATOR(S) – FILLED
The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for the workshops to be offered during the week of camp.
SMALL GROUP COORDINATOR(S) – FILLED
The Small Group Coordinator provides material for the small groups.
PRAYER LETTER COORDINATOR – FILLED
The Prayer Letter Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that each camper and staff member is prayed for throughout the week and receives at least on prayer letter at the end of the week from the person praying for them.
BOOK TABLE COORDINATOR – OPEN
The Book Table Coordinator is responsible for the selling of books on consignment and other Crosstalk merchandise during camp.
